“After the birth of my 3rd child, I began to feel a pull to re-enter the workforce outside of the home. I had been home with my kids for almost 5 years but the call to change directions was too strong to ignore. With a lot of prayers, the Lord opened a door, and in January of 2017 Beyond Home Care was opened.”

Kelly grew up helping the elderly and found a love for them through her aunt Patty.

“Patty worked in an Alzheimer’s unit at a local nursing home and I would volunteer my time with the residents making crafts, playing games, or painting nails. The summer before I started high school Patty started working at an adult day center, and I spent the entire summer working at the center with her. We played bingo, went on field trips, exercised with the residents…I have wonderful memories of that summer volunteering at the day center.”

In early 2000 Patty started an in-home care agency for the elderly and disabled in Birmingham, AL, Kelly worked for the business as a Caregiver during college as well as working in the marketing and staffing departments. In 2014 Patty passed away from a major organ failure at the age of 49.

“Beyond Home Care is an extension of Patty’s legacy. She loved working with those who needed her most and I think she would be proud of what we have created in Alex City.”

Kelly Adams - Owner

Kelly Adams

CEO / FOUNDER

Kelly Adams

Kelly is the CEO and Founder of Beyond Home Care. She has a BS in Communications/Public Relations from The University of North Alabama and has always loved being around the older generation. 

In 2017, Kelly opened the doors of Beyond Home Care in Alexander City, knowing there was a need for the elderly and disabled in Lake Martin to age in place. 

“God has blessed us with wonderful clients and amazing caregivers over the years.  He continues to allow us to create a meaningful impact and change lives in the community…we are extremely blessed.”

Kelly is a Certified Senior Advisor® and works with family caregivers to ensure they have the resources tools and support they need for the journey of caregiving.  Kelly lives in Auburn with her husband John, and her three kids, James (9), Ava (7) and Isaac (5).

Kirsten Robinson - Beyond Home Care

Kirsten Robinson

CLIENT SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Kirsten Robinson

Kirsten is our Client Support Specialist and has been with Beyond Home Care since 2018. Kirsten has worked as a home care aide since 2015 and initially with Beyond Home Care as a caregiver. Within a year, she joined the office team as the receptionist proving her value in customer service. She has grown in her role now has the privilege of being the Client Support Specialist communicating with clients, and their family ensure the highest quality of care. With her positive attitude and sunny disposition, Kirsten is always willing to help in any way she can.

Renae Kizziah - Beyond Home Care

Renea Kizziah

STAFFING COORDINATOR

Renea Kizziah

Renea is the Staffing Coordinator of Beyond Home Care. She has been a Certified Nurse Assistant since 2005 and worked in both nursing homes and home health for 15 years. Renea has been with Beyond Home Care since we opened in 2017. When she first started at Beyond, she wore many hats as receptionist, scheduler, and anything else that was needed at the time. Now her main responsibility is ensuring cases are staffed and caregivers are well trained for their client.

TEAM DEVELOPER

Brittney Harvey

Brittney is the Team Developer at Beyond Home Care responsible for recruiting and retaining the best caregivers for our clients. Brittney has been with Beyond home Care since 2019, initially as a caregiver, and was promoted to Team Developer in January of 2021. She brings a lot of experience to our Team Developer role with 28 years of various customer service experience and 9 years of caregiving experience.
